Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc. will be presenting a Fair Housing Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, June 27, 2019. The event will take place from 11:30 am until 1:00 p.m. at Moreno Valley City Hall, City Council Chamber, 14177 Frederick in Moreno Valley. The meeting is free to the public and will feature presentations of interest to anyone looking to purchase a home, as well as for persons facing any housing issues.
Topics of discussion will include fair housing and discrimination, legal rights, the home buying process including mortgage lending and realtor advice, reverse mortgages, foreclosure prevention, loan modification services, identifying predatory lending, the importance of budgeting and solar energy.
In addition, HUD certified counselors will be available to discuss fair housing issues including discrimination in housing.
