Riverside, California – December 2, 2020 – The Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc., in partnership with the City of Perris, is hosting a Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Zoom on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. A previous Perris Town Hall meeting was interrupted by a power outage. This is a part of a series of a “Virtual Road Trip” throughout Riverside County bringing Town Hall meetings into resident’s own living rooms and offices.
The general public is invited to participate in this lively and interactive special opportunity. A panel of four presenters will be discussing Fair Housing rights, landlord-tenant issues, and resources available to residents of Perris during the COVID19 pandemic as well as a look ahead. The various topics will include tenants’ rights, evictions, local resources, and more.
The panelists will be representatives from the Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc., the City of Perris, Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino and Southern California Rental Housing Association. Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions.
