FREE HOUSING TOWN HALL MEETING SET FOR NOVEMBER 13
November 1, 2018 — Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc. will be presenting a Fair Housing Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2018. The event will take place from 11:30 am until 1:00 p.m. at the Multi Purpose Room at Corona City Hall, 400 S. Vicentia Avenue in Corona. The meeting is free to the public and will feature presentations of interest to anyone looking to purchase a home, as well as for persons facing any housing issues.
Topics of discussion will include fair housing and discrimination, legal rights, the home buying process, mortgage lending, reverse mortgages, foreclosure prevention, loan modification services, identifying predatory lending, the importance of budgeting and advice for first time homebuyers.
In addition, HUD certified counselors will be available to discuss fair housing issues including discrimination in housing.
